I first stayed at W Bangkok in 2016, and here I am again – back at one of my favorite hotels. I had no idea back then that it would become a place I’d keep coming back to, but from the moment I spotted the W sign, I was hooked. The effortlessly cool vibe, the comfiest beds, the huge pool, and all the little luxuries made me fall in love instantly. Now, returning feels less like a nostalgia trip and more like a chance to experience everything I loved all over again. The warm, welcoming staff, the amazing breakfast, and the stylish restaurants just add to the magic – W Bangkok never disappoints.

I have collaborated with W Bangkok, and I want to clarify that all opinions expressed on this blog about the hotel are solely my own honest perspectives.

Location:

The W Bangkok is right in the middle of the lively Pathum Wan neighbourhood in Bangkok. It’s close to famous places, great shopping spots, and lots of places to eat. Plus, it’s super easy to get around from the hotel since it’s just a short walk from the BTS Skytrain.

First Impression:

Walking into W Bangkok for the first time felt like stepping into a whole new vibe. Right outside, there’s this stunning fountain that sets the mood right away. The staff at the entrance were super friendly and took care of my bags with big smiles. When I checked in, they handed me a welcome drink, which was a nice little touch. And the lobby? It’s not like your usual hotel lobby—it’s got this cool, modern feel that fits the whole W Bangkok vibe perfectly.

Room

Our room on the 19th floor came with jaw-dropping views of the Bangkok skyline, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows that stretched across the entire wall. The bed? Pure bliss—like sinking into a cloud after a long day of exploring.

Everything about the space was designed for comfort and convenience. A fully stocked minibar made DIY cocktails a breeze, while the spacious desk was perfect for catching up on work. And when it was time to unwind, the massive TV had us covered.

The bathroom was another standout – sleek, stylish, and complete with a deep soaking tub, a separate toilet, and a powerful rain shower with the kind of water pressure that makes you never want to leave.

SPA & GYM & POOL

W Bangkok offers more than just a place to stay; it’s a complete experience.

It’s the perfect spot to escape, recharge, and indulge in a little self-care.

Fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of the 24h well-equipped gym

and the pool at W Bangkok is a total vibe – stylish, relaxing, and the perfect escape from the city heat. You can take a dip, lounge in the sun, or just chill and soak up the atmosphere. And the best part? There’s a poolside bar serving up delicious cocktails, so you can sip your drink while enjoying the view.

Dinning

W Bangkok takes dining to the next level with its fantastic lineup of restaurants and bars. Here, you can discover places like :

  • The Kitchen table – a beautiful restaurant that also offers a Tipsy Cow discovery set that we had the opportunity to try. The menu features American cooking techniques including slow-cooked, smoked, and grilled meat. We’ve tried some amazing BBQ smoked pork ribs, pulled pork pizza, brisket tacos, spaghetti and meatballs and a few other things. Everything was so delicious!
  • Paii – one of the best seafood restaurants in Bangkok that also offer beautiful afternoon tea
  • Nikaku – A Two Michelin Starred Japanese restaurant
  • The Bar – beautiful bar located at the House of Sathorn
  • The Pantry – a cafe with healthy options
  • WooBar – a great place for cocktails
  • W lounge – is a cool spot with a stylish vibe, perfect for sipping on crafted cocktails and soaking up a lively atmosphere

Breakfast

Mornings at W Bangkok start with a seriously good breakfast. You can order eggs just the way you like them or pick something tasty from the à la carte menu. On top of that, there’s a huge buffet with a mix of Asian and international options – think dim sum, noodles, fresh pastries, cheeses, and tropical fruits. Fresh juices, smoothies, and barista-made coffee are also available to kickstart your day.

Celebrating Special Occasion:

I celebrated my birthday at W Bangkok, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it special. It started with a lovely welcome cake waiting in my room, which was such a nice surprise. After dinner, they brought out a beautifully decorated cupcake, and during afternoon tea, I was treated to another cake. Just when I thought the surprises were over, the staff at the bar brought out yet another cake while I was having a quick drink. All these little touches made my birthday feel extra special and so memorable!

The final word

My stay at W Bangkok was incredible – definitely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The bed was insanely comfortable, and getting out of it each morning was a real struggle! The staff were super helpful and friendly, making the whole experience feel even more welcoming. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore Bangkok and get around the city. If I’m back in Bangkok anytime soon, W Bangkok will definitely be my first choice.
