One of the best places to visit during Christmas is definitely London. I love walking around at that time of year and feel the Christmas spirit everywhere, smell the hot wine, apples covered in caramel or roasting chestnuts and see wonderful Christmas trees and lights all around the city.

Trafalgar Square

Strand and Covent Garden

Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus

  1. London during Christmas would be such a treat for the eyes, and I can imagine all the liveliness from these pictures. That giant fairy on Regent Street is so pretty! The grand finale would be so stunning!

  2. I’ve always known London to be lively even without Christmas. Not surprised everywhere is lightened up. The decorations on Carnaby street is the winner for me. So colorful. Looks like something magical is happening in Regent.

  3. Amazing Christmas lights; it would be like walking in a fairy town. In our home island of Cebu, we have streets like these too. Except with the addition of our parols, our Filipino version of Christmas lanterns.

  4. What a lovely virtual tour of the city during the festive season. Loved all your snaps. I particularly was impressed with the motion lines in some of your snaps. Well captured.

  5. London even otherwise is an iconic city and has always been my dream city. Come Christmas the city seems to erupt in dazzling colours. Christmas is indeed the right time to visit London and hope to be there next Christmas, strolling around Trafalgar Square.

  6. It looks absolutely beautiful, I keep trying to pick a favourite but don’t think I can! There’s definitely something magical about wandering around London at Christmas, there’s something in the air. I love the elegance of Regent Street, but then also the colourful Carnaby street 🙂
